Getting Online with Social Media
from Mark Combs, Aflac

On line networking sites have been a hot topic at our last few business luncheons. I'm providing help for those who want to get their page at Biznik.com started or just learn more about how it works. I've set aside some time Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 15th.

I'll be at the Kofe Haus next to CVS Pharmacy, across from Blockbuster from 5pm until about 6pm. Bring your laptop with you if you've got one. FREE WiFi there.

If you have questions about FaceBook or Twitter, let me know. We have folks that are pretty efficient with those options as well.

If you don't need help with Biznik, but wanna pop in for a little while to kickback, relax and enjoy some good conversation, come on by! Their menu is loaded with goodies. YUMMY!

Wanna see what Biznik can do for your business?
Google Aflac Amelia Island and see what pops up.

Articles of Interest -

An American Demographic Society study recently revealed:
Americans waste more than 9 million hours each day looking for lost and misplaced articles.

Considering the fact that we're only issued 24 and we spend at least 8 of those sleeping, some folks are over their quota. With that thought in mind, here's a few easy-to-find helpful articles for you to enjoy.

Leadership:
Leaders today struggle with many things, some forced upon them, some inherent to their personality and limiting beliefs. And, while obstacles may come and go, we will never achieve true success without a clear map to get us there.

Marketing:
Design is the difference. Embrace it. . . or you're roadkill. As a consumer, you're constantly engaged with design. Every time you open a dinner menu, walk into a store, log onto a web site or purchase a product somebody has designed the experience you are about to have. Whether or not they've done it well can have profound affects.

These days, online networking is all the rage: sites like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn are making big news. You know you should use these sites to increase business, but you're not exactly sure how to use them to full effect.

If you want to share one of the little nuggets of information you found somewhere between the top of the page and where you are right now, it's best to scroll down just a little more and use the "Forward E-mail" option that's built in. You can even add a personal note.

Otherwise, all the awesome icons, artwork and links may not work properly when it arrives. And, you wouldn't want that to happen, now would ya?
